River

the title is misleading and literally fake news

To finish the movie means to let the team that works on the movie from a just closed studio, to work on it and pay them money, something that Disney wanted to avoid and the reason why they closed the studio in the first place.

I could play the moderator, I can ban you, die sis.

Cameltoe Chariot

Disney made an entire documentary about the gay man behind The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, covering details such as how Ursula was based off of the drag queen Divine.... how he suffered from AIDS and Disney accommodated his illness/his wish to stay home by delivering animation to his house for approval...

but they're anti-gay because some animated film got cancelled due to a studio closure.

Isn't it such a "coincidence" their business decisions always seem to involve keeping significant queer characters out of their brand? A funny "coincidence."

These comments are hilarious. Are people actually suggesting that Disney, of all companies, could not afford to, or simply could not manage the talent to, finish an animated movie? They acquired so many movies in the Fox acquisition. They made a clear choice not to acquire it, but to shut it down. At least be honest about that.

Do you know that BlueSky studio is located outside California and it is not economical not practical for Disney to keep them around either way? Disney certainly not gonna relocate them to live in CA, especially currently, when they already had to fire a lot of cast mates from Disneyland in CA and FL amid the pandemic.

Disney owns an animation studio. They can finish an animated movie. And most animation work is happening remotely anyway. They don't need to keep the whole studio open to complete the film. Many Fox films were shifted around during the acquisition. It is absurd to act like Disney, the premiere animation company in the world, is somehow unable to complete work on one animated film. They chose not to.

That is not how it work, with animations, you cannot finish what other studio started because that is hijacking other people's work.

Disney owns it. They own the whole studio. What are you talking about?
