You can visit a family member if unfortunately their condition is very bad or terminal, at least in my country. I don't know how this works inthe UK tho. My neighbor visited his brother, it needs to be arranged and you must follow all the established protocols. It was one of the things that changed from the first confinement in March. But unfortunately, when you are allowed to visit a person in the hospital these days,  it means that they are very ill and probably won't make it.

i hate the royal family immensely too but your opinion, ain’t it. someone already addressed that people in dire situations can be visited. so do you think we should never let visitors again because for a brief period no one was allowed to visit?

As far as I was aware people were not allowed to visit families in hospitals and care homes

You really keep going on about how people died alone when there were was a hard-line no visitors allowed at all rule despite multiple people pointing out that that restriction is no longer in place. Interesting.

When you don't have royals, you have president, who is in parlamentary republic also just a drain on taxpayer's money. Royals are educated and trained whole life to be a good representatives, so they respresent the country well. However, every populist can end up being president and then embarass whole nation around the world.
