VillainTina 570 Posted February 19, 2021 Share Posted February 19, 2021 911 Was released May 29th 2020. the first couple of months it was released i thought the song had a (i want your love and all your lovers revenge, Paper Gangsta, Enigmatic) Vibe (hence the first and 2nd verses) ,from my understanding she talks about Keeping what's most sacred to her close to her in her heart but its like its being played with so she's like "this is what i must do" 3-4 months pass by & The 2 min performance comes thru (what i got from the vmas was that she took the rain on me knife out and kepped dancing w her teary eyes lol ) & the video randomly surfaces online. after that the video and the pre-chorus/chorus throw me off completely . Don't get me wrong i want 911 to be that gurl so f*king bad but ever since sept and even w the release of the remixes im still kinda left dry with what shes trying to come across with with 911 like ok if she doesn't take the pills it could be a life or death moment. and she's in the desert and the desert represents her mind which somewhat copies the crashes reality. ya go on months and months promoting 911 yourselves and i still don't understand the hidden meaning or what i should take from 911 and because of this one song it had turned me off from the album completely and it kinda hurts cuz i've been a fan since i was 10 years old and there is not a reference on a lady gaga song that i have not understood from The Fame to ARTPOP to even now, but 911 turns me off everyf*cking time especially now with corona cuz i like to blast music in the speaker and i feel like if i cant blast gaga and not feel crazy (specially in these times, gurl these NYC neighbors are TRYING what ? IT) and instead feel something that can be kind of relatable wtf is life i feel like 911 marks the moment from that little monster 10 year old boy who was crazy over paparazzi @ the VMAS and was rightfully crazy about ARTPOP in an experimental time & then joanne, to that person who leaves their past without mourning it i'm 21 and now i feel like were DEFINITELY too old to be listening to 911 and not get the themes off rip. its been 9 months. please send help can someone PLEASE 911 Reverse Warholian Expedition ME RIGHT NOWWW!! He may also signify Death or her body luring her deeper in her mind. 2) The Red Mask - This is the blood from the accident. 3) Bike with Pomegranates - The first real element in Gaga's vision. She is most probably the victim of the collision. Pomegranates simultaneously signify life and death. Take note that the pomegranates are actually apples in real life. 4) The Red Anklet - Gaga's broken foot in real life. 5) Walking to the White Chapel - This is the movie poster Gaga saw. This can also signify the deepest recesses of her mind, protecting her from trauma. 6) Pillow Man - Another victim of the accident who crashed on his steering wheel. Probably swerved to avoid Gaga. 7) Black Girl in Blue - The first spectator to the accident. Most likely the one who called 911. 8) Two Yellow Men Holding a Door - These are two firemen holding the car door to get Gaga out of the mangled vehicle. Their hats have '911' written on them in roman numerals. The yellowmen were blindfolded because the firemen wore black goggles. 9) Woman Holding a White Body - A woman holding a victim who might have been hit by one of the cars. The white body even has red lace signifying blood. 10) Additional Three People in Blue - Additional spectators filming the whole thing. 11) Yellow Man Mixing a Cauldron - This is a fireman and a smoking car wreckage. 12) The Latin in Guy in Black and the Black Mary in White - These are the paramedics trying to save Gaga's life. 13) The Spinning Umbrella - The paramedics descending via a helicopter. 14) The Purse with the Picture of the Doll - This signifies the pills that would have made her stable. Did she cause the accident? Her balancing the purse/case and the doll could mean her balancing life (doll) and death (case - coffin). 15) The Latin Guy Strangling the White Mummy - The paramedic was checking for a pulse. 16) The Black Mary Covering the Pillow Man with a Sheet - This was the paramedic covering the victim with a thermal blanket. 17) A Man with Dog Ears whose Face is Being Covered by the Latin Man - The paramedic giving oxygen to one of the victims. This might be the driver of the second car. 18) The Black Mary Flashing a Mirror on Gaga - The paramedic was flashing her flashlight on Gaga's pupil's looking for consciousness. They even have the bird sign in their hats. 25) The Blue Streamers Waving in the Wind - This was the fire hydrant spewing water. 26) The Peacock - This represented Armenia in the Armenian Film Festival signage. 27) The Black Mary Holding a Snake - This is the snake in the cross logo of the paramedics. 28) Gaga in Yellow Spasming - This is Gaga's body rejecting the medication/treatment. 29) The Mural - This was the scene of what really happened. Gaga is now getting closer to surfacing to reality. 30) The Latin Guy Touching Her Heart Area - The paramedic giving her heart pumps and CPR. 31) Gaga in Black Floral Outfit - This is Gaga being put in a full-body brace. The curtain also might have fallen in the background to signify her impending death, the bodybag. This is why, as a last-ditch effort, the paramedics used the defibrillator. There is also police tape in the background with the word 'caution' written in Armenian. 32) The Box - This is the defibrillator. 33) The Virgin Sacrifice - As dream world and real world collide, the vision concludes in a terrifying sacrificial scene as the pain comes rushing in. It's interesting that the knife that kills her in the dream world is the current of electricity that brings her to life in the real world. 34) 'I didn't have pain pills!' - This suggests that she caused the accident because she had a severe episode of pain (fibromyalgia) from not taking her medication. 35) LG Advertisement - 'Life is good, LG.' Ironic, isn't it? Theory 1: One of the cars is very reminiscent of Carino's car when Gaga and him were still dating. Could this signify Carino ramming into her (relationship rifts and fights) and hurting her emotionally and physically from being triggered by Gaga's fibromyalgia? Theory 2: Gaga's hair and outfit is eerily similar to her Joanne era aesthetic. She could have worn literally anything, but she didn't. In Perfect Illusion, she also crashed in a desert (The whole dream sequence of 911 was also a massive illusion, right?). Could this crash be a metaphor of her pain from fibromyalgia and how she was close to dying physically, mentally, and emotionally? Did I miss anything? Please let me know! I would update the list. We often want to blame everything around us for whats wrong in our lives, but sometimes, it's just us. The song is about how Gaga sabotages herself. She says self-hating phrases to herself and that leads her to a really dark place. A place that only calling 911 could help her get out of. 911 is also about letting her ego get the best of her. "Holding on so tight to the status. It's not real, but I'll try to grab it". Gaga is clinging to her status even though it's all an illusion. She knows it's bad for her and her self-esteem but she clings to it anyways. 911 is a cry for her but it's also her recognizing that only she can save herself. Nobody is coming to patch the line...
