Thomas P 18,479 Posted February 16, 2021 Share Posted February 16, 2021 I haven't really enjoyed an album from her since Femme Fatal, and in retrospect it's not that great either, I was just 10 during that era and I was very into Britney then. I think she is a very kind person, and I've never liked what the media did to her, but my introduction to her was seeing stories of her shaving her head when I was six years old, so I didn't have a positive opinion of her until years later, and that's when I finally got into her music. (I was a literal child so I didn't know any better, before anyone comes for me and this comment) Her best album is Oops I did it Again. That run of #1's she got later in her career were just not it. To think the likes of Stronger, I'm A Slave 4 U, Toxic, Me Against The Music, Everytime, Gimme More and Till The World Ends didn't reach the top but Womanizer, 3 and Hold It Against Me did is tragic. - I used to think Blackout was her best album, now I think it's In The Zone. - Glory is decent enough and a big improvement over Britney Jean but it wasn't on par with her earlier material. - Pretty Girls is a bop and I don't get why people hate it so much. Is it just because Iggy's on it and so many people love to hate her? Or because she seemingly dissed Britney in that tweet about how a song can't be a hit unless all parties are willing to promote?
