Joseph Kahn: Britney is genuinely nice. I never understood the hate

No he didn't. He just doesn't want to work with her again. Furthermore there are reports of people on the site that back up the claims that it was Gaga who made it not possible for the video shoot to happen, but there are many fans who believe gaga can do no wrong and everything bad that happens with her career is *always* other people's fault.

Anyhow, back on topic: I'm glad to see so many people publicly supporting Britney, I hope this helps bring her conservatorship to an end.

So basically a successful woman decided something wasn't working so decided to go elsewhere to execute her vision.

When was this? I never heard about it :messga:

He was supposed to do TEOG video and they agreed on the concept, they scheduled video shoot and everything was ready. Sets were built (of Brooklyn bridge, underwater scene, hospital...) and few days before filming Gaga was suddenly not pleased with it and they got into argument and after that Gaga kinda painted him as a bad guy that didn’t want to follow orders but many other people who were there along with him said that it’s the other way around..

Excuse you but he did bully Gaga. She is the artist of her own song, she wants the production to feel right. As a singer AND a songwriter, an artist who pours meaning into her craft, she deserves to choose who she'd like to work with. Besides, you don't know what happened on the set. You only know there was drama and she didn't like it. There's no use in siding with any of them, both are just human beings who make dumb mistakes, sure... But the point is, bullying is never stylish. And he did bully her. He burnt the bridge. He could work with her again if he shut it. That's what happens when you're not kind, so learn from this dude. Now he speaks about Britney when it's convenient, because hey, he did produce all of that, didn't he? Good to be reminded, then.

Also, the people who know about the song and the meaning behind it, how personal it is for her, yes, if she felt it doesn't fit with her loss of grandfather, then bye bye mr director/producer/manager/etc. She needs the best team for every single thing she creates. And he wasn't right for this one. She definitely doesn't need to remember drama and money around her resting grandpa.

That would be cute if she didn’t agree with it in the first place and then backtracked few days before filming which is rather unprofessional.. wouldn’t you agree?

Gurl, you should choose the people you protect more carefully. Just saying. Your intuition is crappy.

On the topic of him vs. Gaga, let’s just agree that both sides probably ****ed up somewhere. He was an asshole about it after the fact and Gaga probably was not a great joy to work with. She was, after all, in the one of the most difficult times in her life and struggling mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Sis, they weren’t on the set of a commercial shoot for a local insurance firm, it was a multi-million international pop star music video set. That decision cost someone lots of money (which, given, could have likely easily been paid by lots of people involved) and lots of time.

Gaga’s a queen, she knows what she wants, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t probably make the job of anyone who works with her a chaotic and unpredictable mess :ohwell: everyone has feelings

You are correct. Both didn't really know how to get out of the situation peacefully. It should've been resolved between the two of them. We don't know who's at fault and it doesn't matter. It does, however, show that it's very convenient for him to speak now on Britney. I don't like that.

I really wanted his version of the EOG video. It was such a boring video, honestly. LOL. I hope they did shoot something and maybe someday will let the drama stay in the past, who knows, probably not going to happen, but would be awesome if it did!

That's his version, and its still her call. I have to laugh because if Beyonce did this y'all would be saying QUEEN BEHAVIOUR and talking about how decisive/ambitious women are seen as difficuly and b*tches.

Gaga has been in the business for a long time. She doesn't have a bad reputation. Quite the opposite. She works with the same people over and over. She's had almost the same staff throughout her whole career. People who work with her usually say she's a very nice and gracious person. We know she's a hard worker. Is it possible yo get along with every single person you have ever worked with? Almost impossible. But I don't think Gaga is an unreasonable person or somebody who would toss out a whole video concept at the last minute without good reason.
