A common gel that people use is called gorilla snot, which I’m guessing she might have mistaken the gorilla glue for. Whether or not you think that’s an easy mistake, people have idiot moments all the time, but she’s probably going to have long term scarring and baldness. I feel so bad for her. And something doesn’t sit right with me about people tearing her down instead of uplifting her given the long history of trauma Black women have experienced related to their hair. If it weren’t for that pressure on Black women, she wouldn’t have felt it necessary to put some random **** in her hair when her spray ran out.
