LaLuna 12,732
I didn't take the OP's advice, and I wish I did. I watched the video and... I'm speechless. Can we just agree that this isn't about snow though? Mentally stable people don't shoot people over snow. That man was clearly very disturbed. Is it ok to dump snow onto their lawn if its from their side or do u have to take it back to ur lawn? If u clean their sidewalk is it rude to not also clean the whole driveway? If u decide to be nice and clean driveway is it ok to clean between cars that are parked or is it rude to get that invasive? But if u leave it u did a sloppy job  So many grey areas and so many ways to piss your neighbour off if they wanna look for a reason get pissed off. I live for the winter neighbour drama Three of my neighbors sometimes clear my driveway with snow blowers. I also hire a plow service, but their truck broke down completely during the last big snowfall so one of my neighbors spent two days clearing 41 inches of show from my 120-foot long driveway. I never ask my neighbors to clear my driveway, they just do. Sometimes I don't see my neighbors clearing my driveway, so I have to ask around to find which one did it so I can thank them. Chromatica Island 8,517
This is why we need background checks, psychological, and need to ban military and assault weapons 1 hour ago, PartySick said: The ban that Bill Clinton's administration implemented did a ton of good  had the Bush admin. not let it expire, gun crimes (especially mass shootings) would be far lower than they are now. I don't think a total ban is necessary or even feasible but we definitely need some harsh regulations in place. Also this^ I don't agree with total gun banning either Any/All Pronouns, Genderfluidđłâ⧠

The 2nd amendment applies to each state the same, regulations need to be the same too. That way a person can't take a bump stock fitted AR-15 with a large clip across state lines into a state with tighter restrictions. I think a lot of these measures would be effective enough. Then we seriously need to ramp up mental illness treatment and screening. Nearly every shooter displays crimson red flags before hurting someone. We need to take those signs seriously. Video of my neighbor plowing me out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llv6z_FzHQU  Tbh everywhere ive lived (at least here in Canada) neighbours are extremely not close and dont usually help eachother unless its like an old person and they might shuvle for them.  I always shuvle my neighbours because i love the idea of a kind world but most dont do little acts like that. Most ppl never even talk to their neighbours not even their next door neighbour in a semi-detatched or townhouse  God how theres things i miss about the more rural areas like where i used to live in Portugal where everyone knew eachother and were like a family and would always help  It hate this me first and selfish world. I actually hate that so much. Why cant ppl be more selfless and have empathy and help others more just to be kind even if it inconviniences you and theres no personal reward?   Also me first attittude is glamorized these days. I swear therapists and tv is always saying stuff like "put your self first", "do whats right for you", "dont let others hold you back" etc. Like i think theres circumstances where thats reasonable (because you do have to think of yourself too and not just othet people) but i think its over emphasized and lowkey i think is a contributing factor to every man for himself culture and i hate that. Of someone needs help even if its a bit of a burden or inconvinience how about thinking of that individual too and not just how better off yourself would be. Say for example taking care of old parents if your able to instead of just stuffing them in a nursing home  sorry rant over
