I don’t know much on the subject but the media always hypes these situations up with Trump and 99% of the time nothing happens. The first Impeachment for example. Democrats have control of the House and the Senate this time around, meaning they can supeona him if they want to, no republicans can stop it. In the last impeachment, they didn't have majorities in the senate, so they couldn't subpoena him for a trial (because republicans wouldn't support it).
