28% on Rotten Tomatoes with like...1 week of screenings. It's implicit

that’s... not what the percentage on rotten tomatoes means

What does it mean then? I said it is "panned by critics" and on the post I clarified "28% on RT". That's all accurate.

Btw, I know the percentage isn't "I give 28 tomatoes to this movie out of 100", but that it is the average between the different reviews.

I can't believe it. I mean, I don't know much about autism but even I can know that doing that doesn't sound right.

This is another case of a 13-year-old autistic child named Max Benson who died in his school in El Dorado Hills, California after his teachers used the same technique on him.

All the child ever did was kick a wall. When he didn't wake up anymore, the teachers screamed at him why "He's faking being asleep." And the school & police falsified the reports of the event, his teachers described him being "6 feet tall, 280 pounds and severly autistic" when he actually was 5'3 and only 170 pounds and able to verbally communicate.

Imagine how many people will go out of the movie and think this is an appropriate way to deal with an autistic person when they have a meltdown or are just even remotely inconvenient to their day?

It is an average because there can be more (or less) than 100 reviews. If it wasn't an average, no consensus would be reached unless you had 100 reviews exactly :awkney:

Yeah because expecting a marginalized community to be portrayed in a better light is jumping on the SJW bandwagon smh

Have you? I watched the trailer and that's enough to know the portrayal is not good at all.

No, it's not good enough and I already said I haven't watched it.

I don't get why you're complaining then? Saying the critics (who have actually watched the movie, mind you) complaining about it are "jumping on the SJW bandwagon" like it is a bad thing to acknowledge problematic and stereotypical portayals. Lol
