Kimmo 40,405 Posted January 24 A Texas lawyer, who was fired from his job after he recorded himself storming the US Capitol earlier this month, filed a lawsuit that presented baseless allegations of election fraud with the help of bizarre references to "Lord of the Rings." The court filing gets outlandish when it starts to make references to the fictional land of Gondor in J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy classic "The Lord of the Rings." "Gondor has no king," the lawsuit states, alongside a footnote which then goes on to explain the analogy. Davis proposes for the court to issue a "state of stewardship," which would mean that Congress and Biden should be temporarily supervised until Trump returns to take the "crown" of the kingdom. "This analogy is applicable since there is now in Washington DC a group of individuals calling themselves the president, vice-president, and Congress who have no rightful claim to govern the American people," the case states, according to the Guardian. "Since only the rightful king could sit on the throne of Gondor, a steward was appointed to manage Gondor until the return of the King, known as 'Aragorn', occurred at the end of the story," it continued. Davis then goes on to ask the federal judge to act with "courage" and to "take a stand against tyranny," according to Salon. https://news.yahoo.com/gondor-no-king-pro-trump-110947868.html Tragic. 16 Quote Share
 Facebook Twitter

alecks 207 Posted January 24 “Legitimate audit” How many audits will it take until one is deemed “legitimate?” Or will it only be considered “legitimate” if it somehow changes the entire outcome? States already audit them. And have. With bipartisan teams. Cheeto’s legal team even had to admit that to Georgia court after being repeatedly pressed on it. “There were a non-zero number of Republicans allowed to oversee...” They could let them hand count every vote themselves if they wanted. Then they’d just deny the ballots are real. There’s no convincing the vast majority of these idiots that people didn’t vote the same way they did because they live in echo chambers where they’d never encounter a Dem voter. 1 Quote Share
 Facebook Twitter
Fresco 912 Posted January 24 There's nothing in the US Constitution that would allow the LOTR scenario. People like him are living in a fantasy land. He drank the kool-aid. Too bad he threw away all those years of expensive law school to waste it on defending Golem. 1 1 Quote Share
 Facebook Twitter
