A man too afraid to fly due to the pandemic lived undetected in a secure area of Chicago's international airport for 3 months.

Aditya Singh (36) was arrested last Saturday after airline staff asked him to produce his identification.

He pointed to a badge, but it allegedly belonged to an operations manager who reported it missing in October.

Police say Aditya  arrived on a flight from Los Angeles to O'Hare International Airport on 19 October.

He reportedly found the staff badge in the airport, was "scared to go home due to Covid" and  managed to live on handouts from other passengers.

He has been charged with felony criminal trespass to a restricted area of an airport and misdemeanour theft

Oh wow. How can someone go unnoticed in an airport for 3 months during what will likely be its quietest time?

An airport is one of the last places I'd hide in fear of COVID but go off I guess

Is he an American citizen?

Singh lives in the Los Angeles suburb of Orange with roommates and does not have a criminal background, according to Assistant Public Defender Courtney Smallwood. He has a master’s degree in hospitality and is unemployed.

Still doesn't make sense but anxiety and phobia makes us do irrational things so who am I, honestly
