Gaga Shouldn't Release Music Until 2022

I can't remember if she has one more album on her contract left? But if everything's still in disarray by the time Gucci era is done maybe she'll take time off for starting a family etc. She still has Vegas dates to fulfill but I wonder when that will even be allowed?

But that's exactly what's going to happen, but not because of Covid. She released Chromatica less than a year ago. No way she has a new album for this year.

She have many other things to do now, it's not 2010 anymore where music was the main objective.

Not to mention the way she grow is not the way most of the fans wanted. Are you sure you are ready for another era who you may or may not enjoy?

We can all be supportive as fans, but if we can be honest to ourselves, we know we will wish how an era or an album can go or handled better. A lot of fans been through this this. Especially the ones who came since the beginning. Over the years, looking back, we all have different perspective to see past eras compare to the times when it was just released. One or two opinions may stay unchanged but we can definitely see some points we argued upon with another fan whonsaid otherwise actually valid.

7 albums is not a lot in today's music climate. Taylor released 4 albums in 3 years, rappers release music more frequently than pop artists, and Ariana has released as many solo albums as Gaga despite debuting in 2013.

She shouldn’t wait to release music because she’ll be able to promote it better / tour. She doesn’t need heaps of promo nowadays to succeed. 

Music is her core, if anything I want more of it from her going forward. Chromatica was a decent pop album, but she has more to give.

If Ariana or Taylor wants to release 10 albums a year I don't care. I see that as quantity over quality which obviously isn't Gaga's style. It's down to the artist what they want to do. It doesn't matter how many albums a year someone releases, if their full of filler it's worthless. I'm sure Gaga could release as often as Ariana if she wanted to but she doesn't want to bloat her discography out like I said.

if she wants to be able to fully promote it, then obviously she should wait til things are back to normal to release new music but i honestly think the pandemic would've been a great time to release scrapped things to keep us sane

although chromatica saved my 2020, i might honestly prefer if she postoned the album til post pandemic and just started releasing demos and scrapped songs and giving us their concepts and her ideas for writing them + why they got scrapped. just something to hold the fans off

Well new music wasn’t coming until at least 2023 regardless of the pandemic or if she was an actress. Also, by 2023 she’ll need to start a family if she wants one cause she’s running out of time to have her children biologically. If she does, we probably won’t have Lg7 until 2025. Watch when lg7 also becomes a disastrous era

You talk as if none of gaga’s albums have fillers or are all critically acclaimed or something. If she was releasing TFM or BTW level of work every 3-4 years I would agree with you but let’s not pretend that the waits for Joanne or ARTPOP were for quality or quantity. In many ways both of Taylor’s albums this year blew Joanne out of the water. Before we used to say that the reason gaga took long with releases was because they all had full, conceptualised eras and were very artistic, something that other pop girls were lacking. However both Joanne and chromatica had lackluster eras so that excuse doesn’t work now either. I don’t think it’s about bloating her music career. She’s just over the music scene and wants to wait as long as possible between albums as seen since ARTPOP.

Tbh, this just seems unfair. Joanne isn't a perfect album, but how are we gonna call an era where she played the Superbowl and headlined Coachella lackluster??? And she did tons of promo, the joke is that she literally performed MR every chance she got, and we got 2 post-album droplets and 4 mvs (MR was bad but the others were great and fit the songs they were for). Joanne was overall a great era. And a big reason Chromatica ended up being a weak era (so far at least) is the pandemic. Obviously she could have still done promo, but it's still unfair to criticize her for holding off on promo/content during a pandemic regardless of what others are doing.
