Rumours have been flying for weeks that the production would be filmed in New Zealand, where our fight against Covid-19 has made global headlines. It's far from perfect from the LGBTQ representation perspective as the show itself holds some prejudice but it's still giving LGBTQ people a platform to be seen and heard. I wonder if all this growth fits Ru's ambitions because it's kinda hard to believe she's still so into this job. Damnnnnn that sucks.... props to Courtney for sticking to her guns, wish it didn't have to happen. I really appreciate when the queens speak out on issues like that, and change has happened because of it, but I also understand why they don't because then Ru says bye forever. I read on Reddit I think that Canada has a law that a percent of its content should be national (aka canadian people working on it), so that might explain why RuPaul didn't host the canadian version.
