Kim Kardashian sold 20% of KKW Beauty for $200M | skincare line in 2022

 In an agreement that was finalized on Tuesday, the 40-year-old reality star sold 20 percent of her KKW Beauty company to Coty for $200 million. 

Through the deal, fans will see Kim's company branch out to new areas, including a skincare line slated for a 2022 release, as well as further development of her existing products. Kim and her team will remain the creative visionaries for the brand. Coty will focus on product development with forays into haircare, personal care and nail products.

I don't feel bad for corporations at all but must be annoying that some rando can network for 10 years and create a massive brand that will dip into limitless product categories (i.e. she's going into nail polish, imagine using skincare by any nail polish brand lol)

props to her, she's worked for her own legacy. She just doesn't become irrelevant, she is the celebrity for being a celebrity.

We all know the Kardashians will slowly become irrelevant by the end of 20s, and Coty will have to sell the Kylie brand and KKW, while all their products will end up in bazaar shops for 1 buck or 50 cents the lip kit, that no one touches other than old ladies who have no idea who the Kardashians are/were

Perhaps, but they also just inked a new deal w Hulu which is kind of a game-changer. While people like them or not, they're still incredibly influential, and a new streaming program could be huge. We can't really say yet whether or not it'll be successful and they'll be relevant from it.
