gagaxsebert 5,804 Posted December 31, 2020 Share Posted December 31, 2020 1) Chromatica - Lady Gaga Spoiler Such a masterpiece, so overhated online tbh (the most overhated album of 2020), people really just hate it even though it’s a phenomenal album. I just remember being so happy the time this was released. Her best artwork, some of her best lyrics, great art design/concept and objectively her best body of work. It’s my 3rd fave Gaga album. 2) folklore & evermore - Taylor Swift Spoiler They’re sister records so that’s why they are both #2. Honestly they are basically join 1st with Gaga. MASTERPIECES. I hated folklore at first but it grew on me extremely. Taylor did THAT. Her second fanbase here could never understand these album’s greatness 3) Confetti - Little Mix Spoiler Not a single skip, every track is a bop and that’s all I need to say. So sad this is Jesy’s last album with them. 4) Rare (Deluxe) - Selene Gomez Spoiler The second most overhated album of 2020 by one of the most overhated artists ever. She really made a great album (minus Fun) and it did deserve more success. 5) Manic - Halsey Spoiler This album doesn’t get enough praise. Great lyrics, great vocals, so personal and so much versatility. It’s just a great project. The other 6-14: Spoiler 6) Brightest Blue - Ellie Goulding (Masterpiece and Tides) 7) High Road - Kesha (was #5 but it’s just so messy, even thought there are so many great tracks) 8) Smile - Katy Perry (Such a great album again with so many bops but I just wish Katy would switch it up) This video sums up how I feel about smile: 9) Dedicated: Side B - Carly Rae Jepsen (Her b sides are better than most peoples albums and this is no exception, there are a couple skips tho) 10) Future Nostalgia - Dua Lipa (I really thought this would be higher cause it’s really great (such a step up) but I enjoyed the others more. Only the last two songs are skips) 11) The Album - BLACKPINK (Sour Candy introduced me to them and I’m so glad. Only the last track is a skip) 12) Plastic Hearts - Miley Cyrus (similar situation to FN. Never heard a miley album in full before and this is such a great project. Only a couple of skips but she really did that) 13) positions - Ariana Grande (My most disappointing project of 2020. I love that she’s doing R&B but some songs here are so boring (.... six thirty). More skips than bops tbh but the tracks I do like (34+35, motive, jlm, sn, nasty, love language, postions, obv & POV)are some of the best songs I’ve heard this year) 14) Heaven & Hell - Ava Max (decent album just so bland and lacks any personality) Used to be HighRoad Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
