No. It is common for K-Pop band members to do solo in between full band album breaks (called as hiatus in the community)

I do think we won't get a Jisoo's solo project while she's under the YG.  Girls may release another short EP all together and the group will be disbanded in 2022.

They've been saying this for literally YEARS and still we don't have a solid release date, it's a joke at this point

I'm very curious to see what their solo music will sound like (especially Jisoo, I have no idea what direction she'd go in) but I won't get excited until we get something concrete.
