I never really loved it, but it just feels like a Christmas holiday and became a tradition. This year I watched it the first time with my bf and while watching I realized it is indeed sexist. Most of the woman portraited are either treated badly, are sex driven or naĆÆve. I hate the whole story around Colin, which seems to be a blatent excuse to have some sexy chicks on the screen. It just such a useless subplot, which goes nowhere. As you said, it's a child of its time and therefore it is like it is. But I think, I will watch a different movie next year.
