Sofianer

I hope my score for Plastic Heats doesn't affect its chances at winning cause I gave it like a 7 or a 7.5 upon my second listen. now I think it's one of the best songs of this year a 10/10 for me

#8 - Never Be Me:

Score: 7.965

Highest Score: 11 - @mercurial high

Lowest Score: 2 - @Rudz Xinc

Comments:

CubbyGaga : It’s alright.  Probably gonna be my least played song.

JoanneMonster : Totally in love with this one

HausOfAntonio : Cute.

Metalguru : vocal harmonies are golden

Aloe :  Another soft ballad by miley that shows her prowess as a songwriter

Buzzkill : Timeless. Career highlight.

NicoB : Maybe the weakest track on the album

GaGaLB : A beautiful ballad. Reminds me of Rush Rush by Paula Abdul.

ChristianDior : I can see how people think this is a filler but this really has that 80s adult-contemporary vibe on it which I love.

Joaomggd : The production and the way she sings it are gorgeous. Did not stand out on the first listen, but it really grew on me

Juan2111 : Very sad :(, very moving, and its one of those song like angels like you, that you can hear it all day long, and jusut get lost on your thoughts (of course about love)

Kilesso : Best song after Angels

BloodyM : 11 for the number 11 song. This song is very dear to me and personal.

Jimmytimestep : one of her most beautiful ballads ever; the lyrics are simple, but crushing. and it doesn't feel too country to me. also...isn't it never "BE" me?

VenusHooker : It's "Never Be Me" xD

Huttont : I forgot how this sounded

GregJA : Feel like swaying to this song, arms above my head crying

Hola Soraya : Not as strong as the rest of the songs on the album; feels like a filler song.

Selenalavigne : best lyrics on the album i think.

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Never Be Me? We just covered my 11 and all my favorites before cracking the Top 5 (even though Midnight Sky will be higher). Well that was fast...

#7 - Prisoner (featuring Dua Lipa)

Score: 8.042

Highest Score: 11 - @ultradim @Reez

Lowest Score: 4 - @selenalavigne

Comments:

CubbyGaga : Not as strong as the first 3, but still great

JoanneMonster : Cute song, but one of the weakest ones on the album

HausOfAntonio : Grew on me since the MV, even though it would've been exponentially better as a solo effort because Miley's voice suits the track a lot better.

ultradim : song does not have a single flaw.

metalguru : Nice song but too retro. pre-chorus is fun though

Aloe : I keep singing prisoner as physical because it’s just too similar to physical and I wanted the chorus to go ham but it didn’t :(

NicoB : It's cool I guess, but compared to the others album tracks it gets meh

GaGaLB : Could have been longer.

ChristianDior : Love the disco meets rock vibe, but it does not pick me up like Midnight Sky.

joaomggd : I feel like this is such a weak standalone track, but It really works inside the album. That said, i feel the chorus let's the rest of the track down a bit, it loses a ton of the energy that builds up during the verses and pre-chorus.
Their voices together are divine tho.

Juan2111 : Thos song can be catchy, but I do find it a little bit repetitive, for example I expected a little more of a climax on the chorus, but there isn't.

jimmytimestep : YAAAAAAS

Touranese : A 8.5 to me only thanks to Dua Lipa’s first verse and perhaps the pre-chorus. The chorus gave me a weird feeling. I really wanted to like it since it initially reminded me of Olivia’s Physical, which I used to enjoy a lot, but it’s just not it. Actually kinda irritating the first few listens. I’m getting used to it now but still. Wish it had a stronger chorus.

Huttont : It’s good but I hate the physical sample. It’s two of the biggest pop stars and they could’ve been more creative.

Blue Monster : Different from other tracks, and their voices blend so well

GregJA : Cute collab

Hola Soraya : One of the best collabs of the year. The differences between Miley's husky voice and Dua's softer voice mesh well like a hot knife through butter.

Selenalavigne : Cute beat everything else is a no.

Soft, soothing, and succulent

#6 - Plastic Hearts

Score: 8.445

Highest Score: 11 - @Arbmonster

Lowest Score: 0 - @COOOK

Comments:

COOOK : The title track and a 0. I myself can't believe this but anyway moving on.

CubbyGaga : The vocal layering here is everything

JoanneMonster : Great title track song.

HausOfAntonio : Greatness.

metalguru : Loose production is interesting but the guitars are quite cheesy

Aloe : The verses are not as catchy as the chorus...

NicoB : The glam rock vibes mixed with pop is so magical

GaGaLB: Bop

ChristianDior : Great song, dare I say that it could possibly be single material? I guess I do.

Juan2111 : its catchy  AF, the lyrics are immaculate (WRONG TO STEAL BUT NOT TO BORROW, FILL ME UP BUT LEAVE ME HOLLOW) and again an amazing guitar solo!

jimmytimestep: Single material

GregJA : CALLLLLIIFFFFOORRNIIAAA DREEEAAMIIN

Selenalavigne : A cute song.

Arbmonster : Perfection, highlight of the album

Soft, soothing, and succulent

#5 - WTF Do I Know

Score: 8.476

Highest Score: 11 - @Hola Soraya

Lowest Score: 4 - @metalguru

Comments:

CubbyGaga : The chorus is INSANE

JoanneMonster : The "I don't even miss you" part is the most wonderful thing I've ever heard.

HausOfAntonio : The vibe I most enjoy from Miley.

ultradim : the best album opener in miley's career

metalguru : underwhelming opening

Aloe : 0.5 is gone because I think the intro production can be better

NicoB : An amazing way to open an album

GaGaLB : Good album opener

ChristianDior : Love it, but also a little too 'Avril Lavigne Best Damn Thing'-ish/early Miley for me. The 'I don't even miss you' gives a little 80s nod too it though.

Juan2111 : Its simply amazing, a highlight is that guitar solo! OMFG

jimmytimestep : This one gets caught in my head the most.

Blue Monster : A catchy opening and it gets you into the album's mood immediately

GregJA : What I do know is this is a BOP

Hola Soraya : An indisputable bop. It reminds of P!nk's songs in many ways with a Miley rock twist.

Selenalavigne : first listen loved it. now it's MEHHHH

Soft, soothing, and succulent

#4 - Angels Like You:

Score: 8.747

Highest Score: 11 – @Juan2111 @kilesso (anyone know who this user is? can't find them anymore to tag them)

Lowest Score: 6 – @metalguru

Comments:

CubbyGaga : Again with the vocals!!! 😍

JoanneMonster : A power ballad, amazing.

HausOfAntonio : I know people love this, but I think its one of the weaker moments on the album.

ultradim : lyrics: 10, composition/production: 7, vocals: 6. average of the three: 7.7

metalguru : Someone watched A Star Is Born very closely

Aloe : This song is perfection... I can see god

NicoB : I guess it's her most amazing ballad since It's The Climb

GaGaLB : Wrecking Ball 2.0

ChristianDior : Nice, but I really need to be in the mood for these screaming heartbreak songs.

joaomggd : Don't really understand its placement at the beginning of the album. Specially like it from 2.30 mins on

Juan2111 : An absolute favorite, very emotional, love the chorus vocals are priceless...sadly I can realte :(

Kilesso : Miley's best song ever.  A classic.

jimmytimestep : I loved it at first but now it feels long.

Blue Monster : Perfect ballad

GregJA : Cry every time

Selenalavigne : YAAASSS

Soft, soothing, and succulent
