Like Carrie was the main character of the series but Samatha was draining all the attention. Ideal condition for causing problems... Literally, exactly what I thought too!! Our minds Samantha is written almost like a main character parallel too Carrie’s life but sluttier and tbh I’ve barely watched the show. SJP have asked numerous times and Kim just don't want to participate anymore. I just hope this will be an one off than actual new season, and hope they really write the script as best as they could. Called ‘And Just Like That...’ (for now), the revival will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. It is scheduled to begin production in New York late spring. mpthecat 928 Posted January 11, 2021 Share Posted January 11, 2021 Personally, I’m pretty sad that Kim is not returning, as Sam was my favourite character out of the four and I don’t know how it will work without her. Obviously, it’s do-able and there are already a few existing plot opportunities they can use to write the character off but their dynamic will definitely be off. Which, honestly, if done right, might even do some good for the show overall.
