By the way, in case anybody doesn't know about it, I discovered the Gutenberg Project this year, and it's LIT! So many public domain works to discover:

How much did you like The Turn of the Screw? I'm yet to read it.

It was an enjoyable read, although story-wise not necessarily the masterpiece of the genre I was expecting. I was taken by surprise when they decided to adapt it as a sequel to Hill House, hadn't heard of it before (shame on me ). The prose was strong and engaging, definitely the highlight for me.

My favorites of this year was:

1. A little life (Might be the best book I've ever read)

2. Red, white and royal blue

3. On earth we're briefly gorgeous

I'm planning on reading Turn of the Screw too. Have you read Haunting of Hill House?

I just finished Moonwalk today. I really enjoyed it as I felt as though I was sat talking to MJ. How did you find it?

I read Pet Sematary last year and really enjoyed that too. It's probably one of the creepiest Stephen King books that I have read.

Thank you for sharing this!

edit: Apologies I've quoted you twice in two separate comments rather than in one comment.
