Gaga has done a **** ton of promo in the last two years, her attention is now split between music, film and her personal life. Honestly, I'm here for Gaga going out and doing new things such as jazz and acting which I personally enjoy seeing her do. If I had to choose any "problems" with Gaga then it would be regarding her unexplained silence and only seeing sponsored posts from her but as others have said the sponsored posts wouldn't have been as prominent had 2020 gone to plan and the fact that Gaga has been a lot more active recently. Otherwise, I'm okay with her doing different things besides pop music, I just wish it didn't seem so cold from her end at certain times throughout this era and as though she only comes online when she contractually has to post and sell us a product. Cookie Tookie 10,546
She’s become a Hollywood girl. Moving to LA was when everything changed. People don’t like to hear the truth, but it’s true.
ALGAYDO 32,420
So promoting music isn’t “for the money” but promoting her other business endeavors is? Like, did y’all not know she and her team make money form music too? Why don’t y’all call her money-hungry when she promotes her music? Oh wait, it’s not about the money, is it? It’s about entitlement lol

I actually find inspiration in this, in that she is constantly looking for new avenues to explore in her life. During discussions like this I think back to the scene in 5F2 where she's about to do the Super Bowl and she says to Brandon that 'it's kinda sad, what's bigger than this? What do I do after this?' She's been the biggest popstar, she's done all the things, and like you say, she wants new challenges. She always moving, and fans might not like the direction, but it's her decision and life at the end of the day

She has partnered with Starbucks, Bud Light, Doritos SXSW, Beats headphones, Polaroid, and so on and so forth. The fans who don't like Gaga's business partnerships also praise Taylor for doing similar moves. Gaga is a brand whether we like it or not, she is not an indie artist. Releases aren't only about making Gaga richer, Gaga has a whole team she employs that relies on her, choreographers, muas, manager etc. Interscope was planning on Gaga touring, and Gaga was planning on promoting Chromatica much more than she ended up doing. I don't understand how complaining will change anything at this point. Gaga had set aside early 2020 as Chromatica era, and virtually every planned promo spot was either cancelled or altered. It is also premature to call the era a done deal, for all we know Gaga could do some promo post-vaccine and/or between filming Bullet Train and Gucci. Adele is also a poor comparison because Adele is not also an in demand actress who has been eyed by Bob Iger, Ridley Scott and David Leitch, or been nominated for best actress in the last year. Gaga has more than music on her mind, and fans need to accept this. Gaga went through her Dua imperial era in 2008-2013. Gaga is halfway to 40, and with the music industry the way it is she is lucky to still be getting #1 hits, #1 albums and the amount of praise she has now. Part of the problem is ageist radio and pop culture, which is not going to give Gaga much of a chance from here on out. The fans who constantly compare Gaga to Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish need to get real, Gaga debuted during the George W. Bush administration, while these girls came to prominence in the streaming age. Gaga can be passionate about a project, but she is also performing a difficult balancing act between her HAC audience, original pop fanbase and the younger music listeners. The fans who think she could just promo the heck out of things and drastically alter pop culture for the third or fourth time in a little over a decade are delusional. I see you in every thread trying to change peoples mind. I get it but is ok for folk to have different views. You are not going to change the way some fans feel about the lack of content, even if you are happy and satisfied. It’s ok for other fans to feel like they want more. That doesn’t affect your experience with the album or your love for Gaga. Emvee 8,350
Little monsters are gonna be having this same conversation and complaining about no music promotion when she’s 45 and has two kids and has obviously moved on from that pop star lifestyle Like y’all keep clinging to this idea that Gaga needs to be TFM Gaga for the rest of her life

Listen I’m not a fan of Haus Labs, I learned to stay away from those threads and let the fans enjoy Haus Labs. So if a fan wants to do a thread about Gaga’s becoming an industry puppet, maybe stay away from it, cause is obviously causing distress. Not worth it. You know what I mean? I always say “we get it , you don’t like Taylor, why stay on the thread about her success?” so yeah I do actually practice what I preach.
