Even in that case, that doesn’t make any sense either in my opinion. It’s really not a matter of “using”. All of this sounds just like an excuse to get money from her ex husband exploiting his sexual confusion, lmao.

Yes in this particular instance it seems like she just wants money. But do you really believe this man had not even a slight inclination that he may also be attracted to men before he got married to her?
Kadikaado 4,302
This is foocking disgusting, homophobic and biphobic in many, many, many levels! I hope he sues her right back! I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.
Guest
So sad I think however the gay men who keep marrying women because they are scared of their family/friends' reaction can be sued, especially if they go on to have babies and pretend to be in love with a woman. A lot of them say oh I loved her, but that's not the same love, we are talking about romantic love which you lied about knowing you can only be romantically in love with a man, same thing, can only enjoy sex with a man. I think personally this type of lie can be put in court as it's very deceiving. The woman then has to deal with the shock that the rship was a lie and become a 40 something divorcee with 2 kids and a house paid for by both the parents, the heartbreak of the kids and all of the mess that goes with it. Not to mention some guilt or shame while the gay man goes on talk shows and talks about the freedom and peace he feels being in this new rship with the man he loves. I just find it so disappointing that nobody speaks about that. If you are gay man for the love of God, dont be with a woman, stop wasting people's time. This is totally unrelated to the bisexual man by the way

But waiting a whole 7 years and basing her case on "he said she said" does not sit right with me and cast a shadow of doubt on her claim i think we need to carefully examing the facts of the case before jumping to conclusions. A man doesnt just wake up one morning and realise that they have an inclination towards liking other men. You got some points, but who knows how it happens. Some find out later t hat they are bisexual, idk im not an expert on how it works

I see where you’re coming from, but at the same time I must say that sexuality and sexual orientation are incredibly complex, both for biological and social aspects. I honestly don’t feel like blaming ‘fake straight men’ anyway. There are a lot of factors to take into account, it’s really not as simple as it seems and it’s not just a matter of ‘being mean’ or whatever. Not to mention some guilt or shame My cousin chose to marry an "ex-gay" man, they were married for over 10 years. She knew what she was getting into. She complained that they didn't have a sexual life etc. etc. etc. Some women believe their pussies are magical and that they are gonna change a gay man into straight. I really don't believe someone has no clue that their partner is not straight/bi/gay. You know it. How can you be such a fool and not to realize that living with such a person for years? I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

So you are putting the responsibility on her to figure out whether he is straight or not ? Im sorry but the onus is on the man to be honest about his feelings and desires and not for his partner to figure out whether he is straight or not... like i said, before getting married lay all the cards on the table and give that person the choice to say no By the way , how is she ever supposed to be 100% sure that he was not straight when that was how he presented himself to her ?. Wouldn't it be homophobic of her to try and guess his sexuality based off ideas she has in her head about what gay people are like ? Also, even tho she may have suspected it , it may not have seemed appropriate for her to bring it up to him because some "straight men" are extremely touchy about people questioning their sexuality and yall know this too well Darn yall are so quick to judge this lady when we don't even know the facts of the case
Sorcerer92 837
I would be 100% on her side if this has happened back then. But now? It just seems a little suspect. I can certainly empathize with her, though. I dated a man for six months who left me for a woman. It can be emotionally stressful.
Economy 52,860
I think "bi-erasure" is definitely only part of of it The saying "it's a man's world" doesn't really apply when it comes to courts in family matters. In that aspect men for whatever reason are almost always handed the short end of the stick in family court cases if it involves kids or money

No, what is homophobic is suing your ex-husband after he finds out he is bissexual. 18 minutes ago, RenegAde said: Also, even tho she may have suspected it , it may not have seemed appropriate for her to bring it up to him because some "straight men" are extremely touchy about people questioning their sexuality and yall know this too well SHE WAS MARRIED TO HIM! Of course she should have talked with him. That's why marriages don't last, people don't talk and expect their partners to guess everything. 19 minutes ago, RenegAde said: Darn yall are so quick to judge this lady when we don't even know the facts of the case She is foocking homophobe, I am not judge her, I am gonna condemn her!
