I Don't think it's about her "spending her money ".. its about the fact that she was definitly trying to show off her wealth by asking her fans if she should buy a $88000 purse.

Exactly this.

Same situation as when she tweeted recently about having a get-together. It's the bragging on social media.

She is a new rich person, ofc she is going to brag as much as she can to appeal to her aspirational fans! Rappers live for this! People should let her do her own hustle and ignore her if they find her annoying. Getting offended by her bragging tweet is not going to help the economy crisis in any way.

She asked a question on social media and got a response

She could have very well purchased it without mentioning anything at all.

I dislike her but those people complaining sound pathetic

"I'm poor so how dare she spend her own money on expensive things" :ladyhaha:

It all boils down to jealously. Celebrities have no obligation to share the wealth. If our government did its job properly, this wouldn't be an issue.

I mean, yes, people are easily offended. Always have been. But we're also in the middle of a pandemic where people are losing their jobs, small businesses are closing, millions of people are just scraping by trying to give their kids a nice Christmas. If she wants to buy something, go for it, t's her money. But posting about a purse that costs more than most people make in a year (or even two) is just a little tone-deaf rn.

I swear some celebrities intentionally make themselves a victim of social media by posting this stuff :saladga:

Twitter isn’t new. We all know what will receive “backlash”, why tweet something like that then act shocked by people responding negatively?

Strung out for another taste

I mean she could buy whatever she wants. Not sure why she has to announce all her purchases tho.
