I mean, it's hard to compete with an artist that literally every spanish speaking teen listens to, But still, she did great considering her last 2/3 albums were more experimental and didn't have a big impact.

Miley probably won’t ever have Bangerz size success again but that’s ok. It gives her a lot of space to explore - she’s still talked about in the media and most people still know her. 
Plastic Hearts does deserve more though!

Pretty amazing considering it’s a very focused 80s pop/rock throwback album. I love it but at times it’s too literal and it begins to sound like a cover album rather than new and/or fresh.
