IMAGINE having those airy heavenly synths in the second prechorus on a normal Gaga track with that kind of mastering. It feels so throwback to like Kerli or late 2000’s/early 2010’s euro dance edm, but in a way that sounds purposeful and not dated. I’d love to feel more “enveloped” in her music in the future if that makes sense. Something that feels more like you could get lost in the club/trip in it. IMO has swine and ARTPOP had more of this fullness and “inside the music” feeling, it would have been killer. I think these are more growers than showers, if you know what I mean. Give them some time, they may not be for everyone. I know, not everything will please everyone, but at least we have this. To literally silence. Even in BP’s interviews talking about the unreleased Sophie tracks, there wasn’t even a single mention of the original Co-lead producers on her project. It just seems weird and like there was an unofficial gag-order out in place by Gaga to not bring them up. Maybe I’m wrong though I agree with you 100%. I'm still very curious at to what happened with the original concept ..... I mean this isn't the first time Gaga changed directions, she basically did it with all her albums but I can't feel like Chromatica's concept doesn't really match the 'generic' sounding music the album offers.
