Sour Candy is 8 months old, apart smashing Youtube views (mainly thanks to BP's fans) I don't see it going anywhere in charts. Sour Candy music video would be a serve for Little Monsters and Blinkers, that's all. I don't see Adele preventing the fans to wacth the music video. I don't see Adele preventing the fans to wacth the music video. but it´s not just about us lil monsters.... there are soooooo many more people who don´t follow every move and step of Gaga and just listen to her singles when they´re on the charts... or people who are very "neutral" towards Gaga and don´t even know she has a new album, but they do listen to her songs, when they come out as singles. I am like that with many artists.. I don´t generally care about their albums and just listen to their songs when they come out as singles on the charts... so of course she can release a single from an album that is 8 months old, because a lot of people have never heard that song before and can still like it and it can still be a hit. It´s just us monsters and die hard fans that know the song and consider it "old" now, because we´ve been listening to it for 8 months now. and of course, when the album is out, she can´t release like 4 or 5 singles in a row. If Interscope was in the mood of getting huge Lady Gaga comeback after blackout and relaunch for Chromatica, it's quite obvious they would invest in a brand new song from a re-release (and getting some radio deals and so on). Not saying SC has no hit potential (I actually think it could have smashed the radios it is was released as a single last year. It's super commercial and catchy). But it's clear the new Adele single can't be considered as a threat for an old song (that will only live in charts if it has some kind of buzz and longevity). Let's be happy if anything Chromatica related happens. Just my opinion but we shouldn't expect any smash or big hit in charts until she releases new material. Gucci doesn't really start until November this year when it's scheduled for release but that can change. The A Star Is Born era didn't start until October 2018 yet it was shot in spring 2017. A rerelease of Chromatica is nothing on Gaga's part unless she wants to shoot videos etc as Bobby or whoever runs her social media accounts can announce it etc Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe they put together an amazing performance, and then we'll get something else in like Feb. I'm expecting something because of her purple hair...
