This actually isn't true, he just bought it with his dads money :rip:

Really? I'm shocked. I once read a biography about his life before he was famous like he is now and this whole time I thought it was true. :toofunny:

500 billion :saladga: I mean, it's good to have money but I could never be happy having 500b on my bank account. You're never hyped cause you can buy anything, people around you might be fake...

True, It's sad that we still have poor people while there are billionares, but I would rather see Musk having 500b than the government. He is going to make world much better, especially for poor

It’s not his fault as an individual, but it reflects an unacceptable reality.

Of course wealth inequality is essential for a capitalist society such as ours, but in the last 30-40 years it’s been reaching levels that actually impair the system’s ability to generate well-being for the people as a whole.

Why does everyone think he has $500 Billion in his bank account?

Ppl like to criticize the Corporate world (even tho a lot is justified) and they don't even understand something as basic as how to seperate a companies market cap value vs his personal net worth which is not the same thing in the slightest :air:

This makes me so sad. The rich continue to thrive while everyone else continues to struggle with no changes in sight.

No one man should have a net worth within the vicinity of $500billion...  it's disgusting.

Who do you want to control that? No one can govern how much someone earns. Do you want it to be spread out among everyone which would have no affect on our races future?

All this blame game is pathetic. People literally can go from rags to riches. Not by sitting making no changes, but its in their own hands.

I came from a very poor background. Now im not poor. Why? Hard work and determination. Thats life.

The Government... obviously - income inequality is a disease.

Tax the wealthy. Make sure they pay up... lets implement free health care, invest in green energy, increase the minimum wage and make sure families don't go hungry.

To quote AOC... nobody makes a billion dollars, you TAKE a billion dollars.

it's not, he spends billions on space exploration and finding a future for humanity

he literally wants 1 million people to be on mars to terraform the planet so that in a few generations lifetime it will be habitable :emma: and he's (spacex) is paying

Yeah, our government cut funding for Nasa. So it does help to have a billionaire pay for what the US government fund.
