Did they served flawless vocal runs and perfectly supported high notes after dancing her life away on a 1 minute breakdown? No. Beyoncé IS technically the greatest popular singer right now. But IMO, her exuberant performances were her best selling point. The vocals is just a secondary attraction. Popular singers or singers overall? Plenty of moderately known gospel singers can do more things with their voices than even the very best mainstream acts.
