Gagaloo911 12,959
The way alternative facts being spread in here like Bernie doing bad with Latinos when in fact Bernie destroyed Biden in the Latino vote numbers during the primary. Because Bernie actually put in the effort to gain their vote rather than declaring they didn't need them to win. caulixtla 2,170
Here is where we will probably win but possibly lose GA: https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/GA/Clayton/105401/web.264614/#/summary?v=269526%2F Right now, Biden - Trump is 75,850. For us to get GA, it needs to be 77,177 or with current margins, about 92,875 Biden votes before the lines cross and we get a lead in Georgia. So, to see how GA will go, look at Clayton county and wait to see when we get 92,875 votes for Biden there. Like what alternative reality are we living in now with the way some of you all talk and think "Biden beat Bernie among Latinos" actually means "Biden beat Bernie among South Floridian Cuban Latinos who are usually more conservative" and it is hilarious. Latinos are non a monolith, but by and large they supported Bernie.

It took a literal pandemic, and Trump's failed handling of it to get a milquetoast Center Dem into the White House. The strategy is a fail. Nah, Bernie, Biden, Warren, (even Pete) etc. all were polling above Trump before COVID. COVID drove Trump down, of course, but they all were ahead. Trump was going to lose no matter what, but our f*cked up system (delayed counting, etc.) is what is making this seem so razor thin when in reality Biden will have a healthy victory. I mean, Biden's going to be one of the few presidents to cross the 50% line with the popular vote (it's usually 40-48% for each candidate & 3rd party) & will probably get 300+ EC votes. Also, I blame the media for a lot of this and it's not just the right wingers...also the centrists and even the left wing outlets have been terrible. Gagaloo911 12,959
Also, the denial in here that the only reason Biden squeaks this thing out is because of COVID happening. Without the pandemic Trump would have been sailing to reelection with a corporate, moderate Democrat like Joe Biden.

Trump is historically unpopular and Joe Biden still didn't get the kind of turnout polls predicted. I don't understand what people don't understand about this. Without a literal national disaster this election would've ended in Trump's victory. Latino voters did support Bernie, and so did most younger black voters. Going further left is so necessary at this point. If we keep going in this direction we are not going to actually improve people or the material conditions under which they live. The Democratic approach of moving to the right and not pushing progressive policies out of fear of alienating mythical demographics is going to feed fascism. Trump’s approval rating never dropped to the lows of other one term Presidents (Carter George H. Bush). That’s what you are missing. He’s historically unpopular by media standards, not actual numbers. Going by the number of mail in ballots and newly registered voters and the popular vote Biden had a huge turnout. You just can’t realize it because we didn’t have an answer on election night. You are starting to be as bad as Trump with ignoring what is happening. All that being said, there are issues within the Democratic Party that need to be addressed. But we should discuss those in a serious manner instead of the pipe dream that running Mr. Free College would have had a better result. In 2016 yes, now, absolutely not. caulixtla 2,170
CBS46 retracted the page saying Clayton county GA was completely counted. All precincts reported, but there’s a lot of mail in left, probably about 3,000-4,000 votes, hopefully more. For people just tuning in, we need about 92,875 in Clayton county to beat Trump in Georgia. Right now, we have 91,072 votes. GA won’t flip until my birthday starts. Anyone still relying on polling now or thinking it gives an accurate picture of what it purports, then you're sorely mistaken and naive.

Polling has shown to be inaccurate in the Trump era, failing to account for the level of fanaticism among his supporters. Our elections are not decided on the popular vote, any candidate likely would've won the popular vote against Trump. Why are people not seeing the obvious problem? I feel like these two were the most notable coming out of this. Absolutely and I don’t even like Kamala the Cop and I found Pete to be like a mayonnaise sandwich (until his recent Foxnews appearances). But I don’t want to be right, I want to win. The polling was off in Florida yes, but was not far off everywhere is. There is always a regular margin of error. It’s unhealthy to keep holding onto 2016 like this.
