To be honest it falls right in line with when she pays tribute to other artists, she tries to impersonate/become them (ie Bowie, Elton...Madonna). I’m beginning to think there isn’t an authentic side to Gaga but rather a perpetual facade.   Maybe she’s so uncomfortable in her own skin, that it’s the only way she can cope.  If that’s the case I hate it for her, but girl needs to check herself.

Ew? What are you doing on this site.

You literally just said that she’s a fraud.

I know i’m double posting, but it’s a shame to read all these responses, you guys are practically siding with the Trump supporters. Why do we care for their opinion? or their beliefs? They completely disagree with everything Gaga or we as fans also stand for. I don’t get the logic in some of these posts.

They’re extremely harsh & sound like they’re coming from Trump supporters rather than Gaga fans.

This video is wrong. First of all, it is not funny or engaging or critical.. is just cringe acting.

Second, will they ever learn? People do not want to hear from the celebrities as last notes the election day. Like give the stage to a working class citizen or a single mom or a real politician -not celebrities. this attitude is so out of touch w reality and quite annoying, honestly. I love Gaga to death but if you can't really say no to the presidential candidate yet at least try to keep it classy. The beer, the military look.. What is the message? I am not criticizing only Gaga. It is just ultra-rich elite of Democratic Party is making the same mistakes over and over again sidelining the real individuals for the sake of rich parade. If this is a political tactic or a PR move, it is just dumb and juvenile and quite dated method and is clearly not working. It is a useless, confusing and damaging attempt for all the parties involved.

I would say you’re wrong on one count: hating celebrity. That’s literally why trump was elected. He’s a celebrity. People absolutely still fetishize celebrities to a ridiculous degree.

I hope she won’t receive backlash for these election days especially if Trump wins. :bradley:

Honestly I hope she enjoys the controversy. Gaga never wanted to become famous to be loved. She has always wanted to be the brightest light and cast the largest shadow imaginable. And she has always been phenomenal at using controversies to her advantage.

I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half

Yeah I don't get this either. Our girl was just having fun. She really meant it when she said that some people on one hand take her too seriously, and then on others not seriously enough. It's friggin camo at the end of the day.

I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas.

I'm just reading this thread and ... Like the president is a celebrity... A rich celebrity talking lies, spreading lies has facts, spreading division, being the most cringest person ever, and people are mad with Gaga?!!! It's hilarious to me!

Be mad with her... I'm done trying to understand some outrage I read on this site... At this point it's probably a cultural difference or something since I'm not American.

Just because Gaga did a tribute for Bowie and replicated his makeup and outfits, doesn't mean she wants to become Bowie or Madonna or Elton. It's a tribute. Chris Brown has done it for MJ by wearing the gloves and hat, does not mean he wants to become MJ. What kind of reasoning is this?

You're talking about an artist who has created a new trend for pop, paved the way for other artists, writes their own songs, inspired new artists and expresses themselves through fashion... I've never seen Gaga copying someone 100%. Besides all art is a form of copy as Andy Warhol said.

If she was she would make sure she always looked IG perfect, that's a woman who speaks out for women rights, and when there was backlash about her gaining weight has said "I love italian food" and that she loves her body the way it is. I just don't understand how u can see Gaga and hear her talk or listen to her songs and think shes a very very insecure grown ass woman... I also wonder why ur in a Gaga forum if she's so terrible and pathetic to ur eyes
