I am done voting democrat and will obviously never in my life vote GOP. They’ve become a republican lite party ever since Bill Clinton.  
 

At least the republicans don’t pretend and lie that they arent stabbing you in the back and trying to take everything from you. Meanwhile dems will gaslight you into thinking they’re fighting for your interest while theyre just their to do their corporate master’s bidding (same bidding that republicans do)

Actually voting blue does work considering if got us marriage equality among so many other court decisions that most people don't even care to think about. 

The Supreme Court literally just voted tonight against expanding the time in which votes could be counted in Wisconsin due to slow mail and the amount of absentee ballots. It was the LIBERAL/BLUE judges that voted for democracy. 

I'm not pretentious enough to think that not voting is better than not voting at all. If one's own fault for putting all their money into the system in the first place. We ALL know that money plays a part in how Dems and Reps work. But at least the Dems will fight for everyday people. Republicans would never stoop to your level and quit politics. In fact, that's what they expect of Dems and Americans. Because we all know that Republicans will continue to show up to the polls and do whatever they want. It's why they're playing footsie with Trump. 

Democrats do need to get more aggressive in Washington, but to abandon liberal politics means to abandon everything that equality stands for. I will continue to fight for black women, democracy, and justice. At the end of the day we all need to pick a side. Standing in the side won't do anyone anything. In fact is the most privileged thing one could ever do.

I never intended to sound like I was  quitting politics though, and edited my OP to reflect that. I am definitely voting this November (Green Party for President, then Democrat down ballot). So I guess I am “voting” democrat lol, just not for president. Voting is definitely the way to go.

Regarding the other points. I am sorry but the interests of wall street will NEVER align with the interest of the working class. The democratic party will always sell you out if it makes their favorite corporate donors and special interests happy (same way as the GOP). And in order to stop you from revolting, they will always focus on symbolism and identity politics to keep you from reaching your pitchfork and protesting (exhibit a: Biden playing despacito at a rally instead of giving working class latinos the policies they have shown they wanted like Medicare for all) (exhibit b: be pro-confederate statue removal rather than legalize weed and free non-violent drug offenders). Things that will never really help minorities, inc POC and women.
 

the democrats used to be the party of the working people and that stopped about 30 yrs ago with Clinton once he brought big corporate donors into the party, gutted welfare, exploded the prison population, and signed NAFTA (all things republicans had wish to have done but couldn’t, because they weren’t democrats and their actions against the working class were more obvious since the GOP sides with corporations).

Studies have shown that most people that dont vote ARE poc, minorites and people of the working class. Instead of shaming them as “privileged”, why not question WHY half the voting population doesn’t vote. Its clearly an example of a failed state. These voters now exactly the truth that both these parties are sell outs to the biggest donor, and do not have their interest at heart. Also take a look at all the voter suppression that happens via the dem and gop party where they change voting location, hours are restricted, and people in jail cannot vote. A lot of working class people are too busy suffering trying to make ends meet with their 3 jobs and have NO time to vote for 2 parties that have screwed them over the last 40 yrs economically.

Why are you trying lecture me on corporate wall street? I said that it should be expected that politicians have their hands in that arena. But at the end of the day, Dems are much better than the Reps regarding equality. Also, latinos are a very broad demographic. Biden is losing Florida because of the socialism attacks. So saying that latinos want medicare for all and making dems run on that is a losing argument for them. Additionally, Kamala literally said that marijuana would be legalized with all criminal records expunged. Like, these policies are literally in the works and yet you choose not to even comprehend that. I can't help you if you don't want to listen. 

I'm not shaming PoC, minorities and working class people. I was talking about you. THIS type of gaslighting and putting words into other people's mouths is not going to help your anti democrat arguments as you've now proven you 1) don't understand the democratic platform for 2020 and 2) use my arguments about voting third party into a fake attack on minorities. So I don't understand why you continue to hate on the dems so much when you clearly are having issues with your own adventure/party. 

I literally just laid out for you numerous facts about the democrats for 2020. Ones that you clearly are trying to ignore to fulfill some pretentious fever dream of sticking it to the dems/reps. Once again, the republicans/conservatives on SCOTUS just tonight made it harder for people to get their votes in in Wisconsin. The same people you apparently care about regarding voting. I don't expect Dems in Washington to magically make things better. But that's not the point of participating in politics. The point is to fight against the obvious attack on democracy at this time. And clearly Democrats are on the side of democracy.

It’s not the Democrats who 1) Said they would not even have hearings for Merrick Garland because we needed to let the voters decide (because Garland is not hard-right conservative) 2) Then turned around and were blatant hypocrites breaking an imaginary rule they created four years before. What the Republican party has done is a raw power grab and an attempt to impose minority rule against the majority wishes. It is like apartheid: A minority imposing their will on the majority of people.

The Republicans have appointed 14 of the last 17 justices, despite only one single presidential popular vote victory in that same time period. That is not reflecting the will of the people.

We need to pack the court (and give DC and Puerto Rico statehood) the first time this pathetic excuse of a supreme court makes a decision that oppresses people, such as abolishing the Affordable Care Act against the will of most Americans, or putting artificial barriers opposing the right to vote, a fundamental pillar of democracy.

This imposition of power against the wishes of most voters makes me furious.

Expand the court! If it was the other way around, Republicans would be doing it AND they have already rushed someone through when the Republicans would never let a Democrat rush someone through before an election. So yeah, expand the court. It's time for us to play dirty right back.
