SlaeUrAnus 16,111 Posted October 23, 2020 Share Posted October 23, 2020 Hi All, I do not know if this is allowed, but: As you probably heard in the news, the UK Government has DECLINED to extend providing free school meals for children, a scheme that was set up by Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford. A staggering 332 MP's refused to extend this scheme! Thankfully businesses across the UK are coming together and are being charitable - using their own money and resources to help those in need, but children should not rely on pot luck charity. A supportive and organised government should be putting in such plans to prevent child hunger, especially with the winter approaching!
