I’m actually going to ask a healthcare provider about this exact situation, because I cannot justify slapping a mask on a woman going through delivery, especially one with prior health conditions. However, corona is a deadly virus that could kill or damage organs even if the person survives. So if a pregnant woman unknowingly has the virus and is breathing heavily for HOURS in a small hospital room...the virus is extremely likely to infect the innocent doctors and nurses.
