That happened to me with MR video and Closer by Ellie. I don’t know why but I always expect the video to somehow fit the lyrics at some point, like Close To Me, WTH kind of modeling video was that?? That being said, I think there are many videos that don't do justice to their respective songs. I never latched on to Million Reasons but I don't hate the song. Some of Lana Del Rey's latest ones, High By The Beach, Music To Watch Boys To, White Mustang and Doin' Time.
