She talks about her songwriting process, calls her new album abstract lyrically and admits being inspired by Kate Bush, Missy Elliott or Björk, among other things.

Some extracts that most likely are not entirely correct:

GLAMOR: Rosalía, you only sing in Spanish. Why?

Rosalía: "I love the Spanish language. On the one hand, it's very poetic, on the other hand, that's how I can best express myself. I think, dream and compose in Spanish, that's the closest thing to me.''

The rumor mill about your third album is simmering. What can you reveal?

"I always put all my heart and soul into the music and am extremely satisfied with how well everything is developing. The Covid 19 crisis allowed me to concentrate fully on the songs. However, I like to keep it abstract and leave it to my listeners' imagination to interpret the lyrics for themselves. "

How do you compose

"The best ideas come to me in the evening, when the sun is slowly setting and there is some calm. In addition to my own emotions and experiences, I am also inspired by music and films. I just wait until the words start to flow. Some songs are created very fast, others take a little longer. That cannot be controlled consciously. You have to be patient. I worked on my current single "TKN" for over a year until everything went perfectly.''
