Dangerous Woman is highly underrated

while the straights™ are too busy streaming thank u, next - i feel like everyone has forgotten about the album that solidified her status as a main pop girl, and matured her as an artist. an album that delivered an incredible message of female empowerment, sexual liberation and strength.

i feel like this album had many singles that got away, and whilst the singles/hits from this album are bops, the non-singles really do the album more justice. she could’ve easily milked this album well into late 2017, leading up to the Sweetener era with more singles, however due to the last single from the album, “Everyday” underperforming, and the unfortunate events that took place in manchester, i don’t think Ariana wanted to promote the album any further which is of course reasonable.

the album would have started off with original lead single “Focus”, however this idea along with the original “Moonlight” album concept was scrapped after it didn’t perform as expected, leading to “Dangeous Woman” being the lead instead. Focus is only available on the Japanese deluxe of DW along with another unreleased DW track “Jason’s Song (Gave it Away)”.

This is my exact opinion. TU,N is what I think of when I think Ariana Grande, but DW has some of the best songs she’s ever gonna put out.

How is it underrated? I mean it was a huge hit all over the world and pop fans praise it to heavens. Even though I myself prefer Thank U, Next, Dangerous Woman is also top quality pop album. It also has 76 Metacritic score which is very good.

yes it was massive when it released but it’s not as talked about nowadays. even “My Everything” is spoken about more than this album. hence why i’m saying it’s underrated.

the album peaked at #2 on billboard and DW song (#8) Side to side (#4)

So it was a successful album, but a decline from my everything, which had 4 top ten hits and considerably less successful than TUN

Into You is the number 1 that should have been 

also Dangerous Woman inspired one of the most important moments in my life so far

so important that they put this into the montage at our graduation ceremony

I don't like the title track but i absolutely love Into You and Thinking 'bout You.

I found the album cover a little bit cringy and don't get started about Focus, a bad (really bad) copy of Problem.

If people like or interesting with her music, I'm sure they'll find it by themself, just because nobody talk about it doesn't mean it's underrated, it only shows people not interested with it, both are actually very different.
