This is so over the top :laughga:

At some point people need to push back and stop caring about random unwarranted backlash.

Do they also complain about the thousands of girls who dress as sexy nurses for Halloween? :bear:

I mean, literally every profession can be - and often is - sexualized :laughga:

people are literally offended over everything these days. i hate how they’ll just bow to these snowflakes who are crying because..why? disrespectful in what way? as a reminder, women expressing their sexuality is not disrespectful but go off

Those scenes are not even sexualized. No sexy moves or anything. These people just thinking with their crotch obviously :saladga:

People associate it because they like naughty nurse outfits and role-playing and honestly...its annoying

Its not even offensive to nurses...like...WHAT?!?!

They should keep it, people are too sensitive

The amount of recognition and respect people have been giving to healthcare workers especially during the pandemic should be enough for them to thing “maybe let’s not put a sexy nurse”

I don't personally agree with the view that this scene is sexualizing anything, but I did think it was insensitive toward those with mental health issues and also a little sexist. This is a stereotypical "crazy woman" trope and depicts her in what I interpret as a fashionable strait jacket in a mental institution simply because she is emotional / "lovesick." The tone of the scene is also dark, reinforcing the stereotype that getting treatment is scary or negative.

With that said, I love the song and the album, and I enjoyed the rest of the video. But I did have a reaction to this scene. I know some will think I'm being too sensitive, but I wanted to share my take.

people have been donning the sexy nurse outfit for halloween etc since the dawn of  time. i’ve seen them get dragged over this like they were doing black face or something. it’s not that serious.

So female nurses are not allowed to be sexual? Sounds like bullshit sexism to me. The depicted nurse in the video was not even sexual
