"An abundance of caution" is also exactly how they described PM Boris Johnson's hospitalization initially too, and he ended up in intensive care (and is like 20 years younger than Tr*mp).

Sometimes I wonder if I perhaps died sometime within in the past 5-6 years and am now existing in some kind of purgatory or alternate dimension because there is no logical version of reality that includes me sitting on a Lady Gaga website posting about Donald Trump falling victim to a global pandemic in his fourth year of Presidency.

i think the point here it’s that now he has it, he suddenly gets hospitalized the day he finds out about it. 

as if every person in the us in a mild condition like him, was able to even get medical treatment without going dirt poor in a few weeks

That could change any second, its pretty common for people to go from mild to severe in a matter of hours. Hes just getting started
