I remember an interview she did in 1995 promoting Something to Remember where she said that she was shocked people think she is just always strong and not vulnerable because she thought you can see her vulnerability in all her work ... some of these songs are both great examples. I love the horns, the upbeat and joyful sound, the uplifting lyrics and the irresistible melody of this song. The vocals aren't the best, but the rest of the song is so good that it doesn't bother me. @whoresup The single version is a 9 but the production on the album version is a bit off for the song in my opinion. It almost sounds like production you would find in a kids tv show so I’m glad they changed it for the single version. I love it (obvs) but it's not in my Madonna top 10 of all time. @nickkoko Such a classic, with one of the most iconic music videos. @Blown Away This song will be the winner for sure. Not that it wouldn't deserve it though. I love the angelic atmosphere of the song in the beginning, she vocally shines there. Then the song quickly builds up to the chorus, which is catchy as hell, to slow down again. This contrast is what makes the song for me. One of her best songs of the 80's. @whoresup Beautiful, stunning, transcendent. One of the best songs of all time and of course one of the best videos. It has an instantly recognisable melody and production that will stand the test of test. There is an emotional but courageous tone to it and it captures a wonderful time in Madonna’s career.
