Take the Free Woman Honey Dijon remix or the Stupid Love Vitaclub Warehouse remix. Those remixes are like quintessential house music—which is more "experimental" than a lot of the electronic/dance music we get from Gaga—and yet they're two of her most hated remixes. People are all talk when it comes to Gaga doing sh*t other than commercial dance pop records, but they'll never admit it :selena:

if we dont like thoise remixes is becuz the original songs are not good to begin with :bear:

But I lowkey hate all this, "OMG Gaga needs to do metal!" or "OMG Gaga needs to be more experimental!" rhetoric when....let's be real...the majority of fans don't want that.

Oh, yeah, I get this. I think she needs to do whatever is best for herself, I WANT her to do rock, but obviously it would alienate a large portion of the (tasteless) fanbase :ohwell:

Yup, those are the same people who hate the slightly experimental songs from ARTPOP or BTW

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

or electronic music with a different approach :trollga: it is a verrry wide umbrella and there's still a LOT of sounds she didn't experiment with. Plus I don't think she'll stop doing electronic music any time soon after she said she got her love for it back

btw all those 5 albums sound completely different from each other by miles so versatility won't be an issue?

Electronic dance pop music is a wide spectrum and I agree she could spend the rest of her career hitting every corner of that, but there’s an even larger music world out there. I just hope she doesn’t wast the next 20 years of her voice on electronic dance albums

um speak for yourself lol. I don't like remixes in general lol and even tho they were quintesential house music, I still didn't like it, even tho I love the og songs. does that mean I'm scared of her going experimental? ofc not, that's what I'd love for her to do the mostttt. and Gaga is literally the only mainstream artist I truly stan, all the others are very alt and indie, and a lot of lms are like this too. so trust idc about charts lol

Lovers in the night
Poets tryin' to write
We don't know how to rhyme
But, damn, we try
But all I really know
You're where I wanna go
The part of me that's you will never die

So when I'm all choked up
And I can't find the words
Every time we say goodbye
Baby, it hurts
When the sun goes down
And the band won't play
I'll always remember us this way

well it wouldn't be a waste for me if she keeps experimenting with electronic music the way she's been doing until now (doesn't always have to be dance music tho). but I get what you're saying about the genres. it just comes down to personal taste

Tbh, if she ever does a self-titled album, it would be so obvious to make it a double album with one side being "Lady" (ASIB-esque ballads and jazz) and the other side being "Gaga" (dance pop).

you said 'we' as in everyone that hated the remixes. but everything else i wrote was directed to that other guy that says we all get scared when Gaga does actual experimental stuff w her music. i probably should've quoted them too :laughga:
