NewYorkGirl 1,467
I’m happy the original 3 survivors are coming back, but I really need them to confirm that Hayden Panettiere will be back as Kirby. She was one of the best parts of 4. My. Lawyer. Liked. That.
thehanyo 4,251
So what do people think is the theme of this one? Maybe it's about reboots? Scream 2 was about sequels. Scream 3 was about trilogies. Scream 4 was about franchises / vlogging
Ricardo 7,866
can not wait, I'm curious for the plot line but I'm begging it won't have much comedy as S4 did, the Bruce Willies scene still makes me cringe

Oh, you're right, it was about reboots and also a critique on social media / internet fame. What would the 5th be about? I feel like since it's the first time it's not directed by Wes Craven, there should be something about that.

Yeah they're really gonna have to come up with something clever for this to work out. Kevin Williamson had a script for Scream 3 about there being a cult that they ended up changing and he used for The Following. I wonder if it's gonna be something like that. I have the feeling the typical 1-2 main killer thing is not gonna be the usual way. Or if they want this so follow up to a Scream 6 then the killer might escape. It seems like they're already paying extra homage to Craven by naming the character Dylan Minette will be playing "Wes".
