She just doesn't seem like someone who could kill her husband. I know that's not say much because someone's public persona could very much be well crafted and manipulated to seem like something they're not. As for the story, basically her husband went missing and people think she fed him to tigers or something. Gaga wasn't laughing at her or being mean, it was just ridiculous and funny situationally like "can you believe this?" kind of thing especially given that Carol was on Tiger King. Are we supposed to believe that routine was her attempt at being a Joni Mitchell-type troubadour or something?
