She got in a car accident after taking her medication. Everything happening to her in the video was in her head due to it, and what she felt during the entire accident. The mural in the video depicts the accident piece by piece. It’s almost like a reminder Chromatica is still a place in her head, her created world. FIrst part was totally how in dream states your brain just starts juxtaposing random experienced elements into a pseudo story. Very Surrealism inspired. Then the second parts comes crashing down to earth (literally) giving a glimpse into trauma and experiences that influenced the first part.
