Tbh It's different if they were price gauging on a necessity and ripping struggling people off and taking advantage of a pandemic that way But an expensive brand like this when theres tones of affordable options out there is not a necessity. It's 100% voluntary if someone wants to spend that insane amount of money on it This is obviously geared to the rich (like most stuff from that brand). Nothing that company makes is of any concern to average peasents like us because we don't buy their stuff to begin with. So no one can claim they are taking advantage of people. No matter how much she claims to want equality and peace she still would rather live in the capitalist system that made her stinking rich and by supporting her and buying her products you’re just pouring more money into her capitalist business. I don’t see her trying to “break the system.” I thought this same way too, but I soon realised that their "hate the rich" perspective isn't that disturbing. They are literally working minimum wage for the basics and so excess like this naturally causes upset - hating the rich is the way they reconcile this.
