Gaga is being eyed by Marvel to play "Emma Frost"

Lady Gaga appeared in movies like Sin City and Machete Kills. If anything a Marvel MCU movie will be a step up for her. 

Sure you all want her to do more movies like A Star Is Born but I rather her do movies that aren’t so meta and think being a kickass fighter is up her league.

We want her to do good movies, is there something wrong with that?

Also, at this point, I wouldn't call a Marvel part a step up from an Oscar-nominated performance  And you guys should be grateful she's friends with Robert Rodriguez: there's a lot of shade towards Machete Kills, but I didn't see anyone complain about the ROM video

Just being attached to MCU’s X-Men would be so successful. And the writing has been improving more.

Yeah, 'cause prospective success is definitely what matters when she chooses her projects No one expected ASIB to do that good.

X-Men is a tired ass franchise, just like all other franchises around, and I hope she stays away from those messes and keeps supporting original projects.

You clearly don't know me at all. And some of you don't seem to know her very well either if you think she'd be interested in something like that, but I guess we'll see... If she does find herself in this movie, I would take it as an indication that she found something interesting to explore. But I've kinda lost hope in super-hero movies.

She did Machete Kills and Sin City which aren’t that far from the superhero franchise. I already called the MCU to be a step above those two movies.

She did those movies as an opportunity to work with her friend Robert Rodriguez. And she's hardly in either of those films, these weren't career-defining decisions on her part... Her debut feature film is widely considered to be ASIB, deservedly so.

On a personal note, I would take Robert Rodriguez over any MCU movie in a heartbeat  Also not sure why you keep bringing those movies up, as at this point in her career ASIB is the reference to compare her other projects with, not Machete or Sin City.

You say "same boring path," but that's subjective I guess. I've loved the MCU so far and even if it does have a formulaic approach, hey, it works! Superhero movies can either turn out really good or really bad. Personally, I'd love to see Gaga be a superhero, but realistically I just don't think she'll do it. She loves to have creative control and the MCU won't allow that. As I said, it's formulaic. They don't wanna stray too far away from where they are.

If you haven't read X-Men comic books you'll never understand why this would be EVERYTHING. Emma Frost is a super badass character. God please make this happen!
