OP:

I like the album but it's her second worst album (and third worst if we include CTC and ASIB, but I don't as they aren't really her albums) out of the six she's released. It has some good songs but a lot of the productions aren't amazing or taken from Zedd's rejects (Donatella; It's Karma Bitch by Anjulie, Mary Jane Holland; Can't Break The Machine, etc). But it's still miles better than Chromatica so at least it has that :vegas:

You really had to add that last sentence, huh? :yennefer:

i don't remember ARTPOP

Gagaism

It can be not her best album but based on the amount of threads talking about ARTPOP in here, like almost every day, we can say it is one of her most memorable eras definitely. And I love it.

I thought it was ARTPOP for me but over time and after Chromatica release. Joanne is my least favorite album. I enjoyed the departure from electronic dance music that Gaga is known for but the songs don't entertain  and get me invested musically. Joanne is still

The ultimate height of my fandom, but both Gaga and I seemed to have developed a more healthy relationship now

The (undeniably) fake demos were the most annoying thing ever. And I still remember everyone here was like "yesss they are trueee!! 1!1!!"

Anyways I don't think it's the most memorable Gaga era: tfm and BTW were more memorable, literally everyone talked about the looks and stuff. I know some people that still don't know she put out a record in 2013

It literally made every subsequent era after it, from any artist ever, underwhelming to me.

It was authentic, shocking, fun, delightfully and organically messy, entertaining, unique and ambitious. No era since then can claim that. No artist right now would even attempt something like what the ARTPOP era went for. I’ll remember moments from it forever.

Its engrained in my subconscious as an era that I know will never be topped. Like, I’ve literally had to rationalize that.

No one right now is capable of matching it in terms of those above factors. Gaga could, but obviously it’s understandable why she won’t and doesn’t need to. But damn if I don’t look back on it fondly.

I can't at people saying it's the most memorable era. Maybe it is for them because that's when they became a fan?

Otherwise the entire Born This Way era, and even the run up to it during TFM takes the cake.

Don't make me say it again!

I was a fan since right after the fame soo.... :spin:  maybe I should've said "most unique" to be more appropriate.
