If she were to graduate, it would be a matter of self-fulfillment, and she seems pretty satisfied with her life. So I’d say it’s unlikely she ever returns to college - and that’s fine. Frankly, we need to stop with this American madness of giving everyone a degree/demanding everyone has one. Many jobs are perfectly fine with professionalising courses and internships (i.e. hairdressers, carpenters, electricians, etc.), which can also avoid student debt.
