It all sounds so effortless, and amazing to me. I honestly miss her choices, techniques and tones she used for that album. What are your thoughts? I feel like a lot of people really enjoy The Fame/TFM vocals.

Also, side question. I cannot seem to insert images anymore. Please help :laughga:

Politely disagree... her vocals are a bit raw/tired on Joanne compared to others. Grows, strains, etc. on A-yo, loud harsh vocals on Perfect Illusion (love that song tho), etc — the best Gaga has sounded related to Joanne is the Joanne piano version, where she sounds gorgeous.

ASIB and CTC are much more clean vocally. I can’t be bothered to look past the faux country accent and Smokey/raspy voice she has on Joanne.

Top 3 for sure, but I think Chromatica is better vocally.

She sounds amazing on Joanne and I love the raspiness in her voice.

Which is frankly an insane talent, not every vocalist has the ability to mold and modulate their voice to fit the theme and vibe of an album/song.

Strongly disagree, Chromatica's vocals are far superior. Songs like Alice, Rain On Me, Fun Tonight, Enigma are so perfect vocally. Joanne's vocals are nice for what they are but the one-take doesn't do her much justice. It really feels like a not-Gaga album looking back, especially after Chromatica... idk

For me it's ASIB, C2C and then Joanne.

I think Joanne was too raw for me, I appreciate the album and the importance of it to her career, it's actually a milestone, but it's too American oriented so it's not for me.

Come on and wrap that blade of grass around my hairy ass

The album itself idk about but the era? Hell yeah. The only thing that comes close is the C2C tour and Jazz show :gayhat:
