Is it just me or is Stupid Love’s beat the sickest thing she’s done?

I would strongly recommend checking out this fan-made remix which is better than the actual song itself.

It's a very bright, boppy production. You just can't help but bop to it. The only flaws are not just that it's lyrically weak but also, it feels very idk....flat. There are no peaks and valleys to be found here unlike her other songs.

But yes, the beat is sick. That synth goes HARD.

It's a fun time

The production, melody, her vocals, I love everything EXCEPT the chorus is f*cking stupid to me, no pun intended. Other than that, I love the track.

I agree except in regard to her vocals. I think theres quite a bit of peaks and valleys. She does a lot with her voice, I just dont love the lyrics shes singing lol

It's basically the same beat as in DWUW. I would hardly say it's the best thing she's ever done that's really pushing it.

It's quite catchy tho.

Its an amazing production, I really love it. But the song overall is my least favourite from Chromatica.

Honestly, yes it's iconic. And those repetitive little gerbil noises. I always get excited.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

I cant say I like those sounds from the beginning of the song and the chorus, I don't even know how to call them, you know, this vocal-beat. But I do love the heavy beat during the verses. Also the song grew in me EXTREMELY after VMAs, mostly because of the 'Look at me now, cause all I ever wanted was love', this live moment gives me chills.

I've been getting messages from my deep waters

I always thought the production was great as were the vocals. The lack of chorus coupled with the basic lyrics were always it's downfall. The video didn't help matters.

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that I meant flat production wise.

The instrumental is great, it's just the song itself that is poorly written imo. I remember my expectations were high when the first snippet of it leaked, and then when I heard the full song I went :selena:

But yes the beat does go off for sure
