SharkmanthaC 115,077
I saw something about a suicide video on TikTok on Facebook this morning. A fellow educator was saying her 19 year old son saw it. Apparently, it’s a real thing. Very worried of what young children could have been exposed to this. (We can argue that they shouldn’t be on Tik Tok later.) TikTok is trying to remove graphic videos circulating the app that show a man shooting himself with a gun, and banning accounts from people who are re-uploading the clip. TikTok says the clip was originally streamed on Facebook and has appeared on other apps. As the TikTok community became aware of the clip, many creators started posting videos warning their followers to look out for an image — a man sitting in front of his desk with a grey beard — and swipe away from the video. Other creators spoke about the most disturbing part of the video being hidden inside more innocuous looking TikToks. A TikTok representative confirmed to The Verge that “clips of a suicide” started circulating on Sunday night. https://www.theverge.com/2020/9/7/21426176/tiktok-suicide-video-remove-ban-community-warnings-creators she/her/hers
Majunnka 263
I unfortunately saw that yesterday on tiktok because someone made the video a gif and posted it as their profile moving picture. Be careful on that app, I am sure some people will try to upload it still. I wish I never seen this, terrifying and traumatic.

homomo 23,883
It’s beyond ****ed up people are sharing this video. I saw a photo of it on Reddit and almost got sick. The mans name is Ronnie McNutt. He shot himself on Facebook live on August 31st. I don’t know the exact details, but I think he did a daily/weekly talk program for his friends/family on there? Anyway, the most depressing part is in an article I read, it said that his mom and family never missed one of his Facebook lives. Meaning they most likely watched him do it. 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111

LilMonst3r 5,688
Wow people literally have no respect or care for the mental well being of people online. Gore videos trigger my ptsd, so good thing I have gotten off most social media sites because some of these "friends" we got share triggering posts.
